June Meeting
As we entered the foyer of the meeting room we were immediately in awe of the “flames” hanging above. These flames spoke from Acts 17 v21 ‘I will pour out my spirit upon all people…’
With a time of Praise and Worship the meeting was underway. Here we praised Our God inviting the Holy Spirit, - Calling Him to come and then with More Power and More Love,
Jesus started touching each one of us from then on.
Grace Bunyan was welcomed and it was very evident that she has a deep passion for the Spirit in her life. Grace shared how she has walked and waited in His presence. After 17 years in a Women’s Ministry within her church, she felt the Lord was moving her on. This ministry had become part of who she was in Christ and she didn’t know if she wanted to move aside. However in obedience she did and God is doing some amazing new things with her.
Grace encouraged us to pray, that prayer should be a big part of our lives. She spoke about the Holy Spirit being our Redeemer, teacher, comforter, friend, encourager, provider etc. Grace said to us ‘you know all this’ and yes I believe we do but it was wonderful to hear and receive again.
As Grace spoke to us, the love poured forth from her upon us as we sat in our seats Jesus was touching each one, even if some were not aware of it.
A quiet night for Prayer ministry because I know Jesus went before us.
The sharing and fellowship which followed was full of the Spirit in each of us.
Blessings to Wilma and her team, who all were wearing Red Holy Spirit tops, some supplied after shopping with the Holy Spirit, for being open and hearing the Call of the Spirit for this evening. Well done good and faithful servants. Shona
