May 8th was a day of thanksgiving and worship - a day spent in the Lord's presence - a day of intimacy with our God. "Let Me see you face, Let Me hear your voice".
Last year Dove celebrated 25 years in New Zealand with Retreats in Auckland, Rotorua, Wanganui, Christchurch & Nelson a day in Waitaruke in the far North and outreaches in Oamaru, Invercargill and Greymouth. Reflecting on 25 years and the lives that have been touched and changed forever through the ministry of Dove we wanted to thank our Faithful God and to enter His courts with thanksgiving.
This was a wonderful day for all women, especially those who had been involved in Dove leadership, ministries or who have faithfully attended, retreats and fellowships over the years to come together and catch up and join together in thanksgiving and worship. Many women have grown and been nurtured in Dove fellowships and then, as is the vision of Dove, have moved on to become involved in parish and community work.
It was not about us, but a day all about Our Faithful God - a day to worship Him. 26 years ago Mary Rose Webb and a group of Catholic women put out a call for women to come. They were amazed at the response and women have continued to come and be blessed and healed.
This year we are having our Retreats, "For Such A Time As This", in September, in Wellington, Auckland and Nelson, with Terry Modica from Good News Ministries USA as our speaker. They are not to be missed!! Open up your heart if you want more of Me. …….this great and intense heat coming from that flame. I believe the Lord is wanting to bring a new Pentecost and from that flame smaller flames are coming and touching the hearts of each person here. And I believe that we will go from this place out to the land of New Zealand and take the fresh winds, the fresh fire of the Holy Spirit. And a new Pentecost will come upon this land. Believe My people, believe. I love each of you just as you are. Come to me. Come. ……That I am the author of your life and I want to give you the best ending. Come to Me and surrender that I may own your life and own the book of your life. In the midst of the worship, I had a vision of women coming from every town in New Zealand. Coming out of their towns and coming out of their homes and they were dancing and they were in white and they were dancing waving banners and they were coming towards the Mountain of the Lord and they just covered the Mountain of the Lord. Come away My beloved, I have called you by name, you are mine. Do not hold back, do not be afraid for I am with you in ……. In spirit, come. …….. and the new earth and soon the old will pass away for I have made all things new and I invite you to come, come to my new place of being with Me. I want to fill your lives, I want to heal your people, your families, I want to heal this nation and make it a nation of God. I am the one and only living and true God and I love you with an everlasting love. Each of you is a bouquet to Me. So come so I may receive each of you. My daughters, while you have been praising Me I have lifted up the dark clouds from you and given you new life. I had a vision of a great dusty plain unlike anything I have ever seen. And every nation on earth was moving in a great big circle towards our God who was in the centre. And every tongue was proclaiming Him as Lord. Revelation 21 The New Jerusalem 1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. I am thanking you for the glory you have given Me. I thank each one of you, I touch you with My love and My healing. I am who am. Vision of flames ……………………….. Confirmed 3While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head. 4Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, "Why this waste of perfume? 5It could have been sold for more than a year's wages[a] and the money given to the poor." And they rebuked her harshly. 6"Leave her alone," said Jesus. "Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. 7The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. 8She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. 9I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."
