Theme and Scripture for 2012
Isaiah 61: 1-4
1 The Spirit of the Soveign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness the prisoners
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD'S favour
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion-
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendour.
4 We will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
we will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.

2011 Theme and Scripture
"But the Word of Our God Stands Forever"
Isaiah 40: 1-11 (NIV)
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD's hand double for all her sins.
A voice of one calling: In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain.
And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
A voice says, Cry out. And I said, What shall I cry?
All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.
The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them. Surely the people are grass.
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands for ever.
You who bring good tidings to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, Here is your God!
See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.
He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

May Meeting
Lucienne Hensel spoke into - the river flowing from the temple - Ezekiel 47:12
Lucienne is from St Gerard's Monastery ICPE NZ Mission (Institute for World Evangelization)...to be a beacon of light to NZ and the South Pacific
Walk into St Gerard's and you will be greeted with warm hospitality, young people of all ages and nationalities, a sense of peace and purpose. With people from Europe, Asia, America and Australasia aged from their early 20s into their early40s there is a dynamism here that is hard to miss. Our one purpose, that of knowing, loving and serving Jesus - makes our home a place people can find the answers they have been searching for.
Family in mission - it's possible! In 1990 we found our separate ways from Germany and Malta to the ICPE Mission, both believing that God was putting a calling for missions on our hearts. We experienced missionary life as singles, then went on to get married in 1994. This brought its challenges, but we felt the call to be a missionary couple. We now have 3 boys aged 3 to 12. When we started our family we wondered if we could continue in this lifestyle, but it soon became clear that God also calls families to serve Him in this way, and that He would continue to provide not only for us but also for our children. With children, our life did change a lot. Yet, we find that this did not limit us in the mission. The reality of being a family, opened new doors to us to minister, particularly to young couples and families, which in our societ have become so vulnerable... Whether at home or on mission, God uses each member of our family to touch someone with His love. Rainer and Lucienne Hensel, Germany/Malta
April Meeting
Speaker: Mary Fifield - Mary was the 2nd Wellington president and part of the first Wellington Dove team.
Many hearts were touched as Mary spoke. To read more click here.
March Meeting
Speaker: Maria Vadia
Born in Havana, Cuba, Maria was 10 years old when she and her family fled to Miami, Florida to escape the communist regime in her native country. She attended Catholic schools and was a “Sunday” Catholic with no personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Later married to a wealthy man, she was gripped by materialism; yet in the midst of everything the world could offer, she knew that something was missing.
Maria was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1987 and consecrated her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the preaching of the Gospel. In spite of great adversity, the Lord has been with her like a “mighty warrior” (Jeremiah 20:11).
Maria is active in the “Catholic Charismatic Renewal” of the Archdiocese of Miami and has spoken at many charismatic conferences. She is founder of the “Jesus is Lord” chapter of Magnificat in Miami, and a member of the Advisory Board of Magnificat, International, a ministry for Catholic Women. She has traveled around America, Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica, Mexico, Malta, Ghana, Nicaragua, Uganda, Indonesia, Canada and India bringing a message of faith, salvation and healing. She ministers the Word to various prayer groups, including “The King Jesus Prayer Group” which she has faithfully led since 1992, as well as at the Miami Women’s Detention Center and Genesis House, a home for the homeless with AIDS (presently closed). She has authored three books; “There is Power In Your Tongue,” “Pressing On In The Spirit” and “An Arrow In His Hand.”
Maria is the mother of four: Ricky, Victor, Eddy and Rosario.
February Meeting
Speaker: Marrion Stewart from Auckland
Dove Wellington was blessed to have Marrion Stewart start off their new year. Looking absolutely stunning in her mother-of-the bride outfit Marrion launched forth into her prophetic ministry and blessed every woman out of their cotton socks.
Interweaving stories of emotional pain, family, healing, prayer and the word of God – with emphasis on the words ‘love is obedience’ – not a feeling – but obedience to what He wants us to do. Small things that seem insignificant to us matter to the Lord.
Asking God what he wanted her to talk about specifically, He showed her a picture of Mother Aubert’s funeral and she remembered her grandmother saying everything stopped from street sweeper to dignitary to honour this courageous woman who had come from France and endured hardship, suffering and persecution. Her whole charism is the charism for women to rise up into. The charism of strength, courage, of boldness and of love and compassion for every single person no matter their race, belief, where they have come from, poor or wealthy.
Marrion announced that it was now time to redig that well and release the power of the same spirit from the same Lord that anointed her. Haere Mai, Haere Mai, Haere Mai, Marrion welcomed in the Holy Spirit and she (or He) took off prophesying over the women of Wellington to anoint them to have the charisms of Mother Aubert, for bodies and hearts to be touched for healing and the power of shame be broken over women and over the nation. The Lord also sent her a word saying that the drought has broken, the spiritual drought, the drought over this nation that has not bowed its head to the God of this nation - there is a turning of the tide over this nation and it begins with us. We turn the tide by standing in obedient love to the Lord and doing what He tells us to do.
Marrion then asked the Lord to send us out (this is just a summary of what was said) to be a light in our communities, in the workplace, in the church. We will be a people that will bless one another and others in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Marrion, Sandra and those on healing prayer ministry anointed each one of us to seal in an anointing of fire, love and compassion that brings healing into our personal lives. Those things which were spoken in the spirit and had now taken root in us. A very special afternoon where every woman was blessed.

Meetings 2010
November Meeting
Dianne McDonell of Waves of Glory
September Meeting
Speaker: Fr Michael Sweere
Theme: "The Highway to Holiness" Isaiah 35
The text Father spoke on was Isaiah 35:8-10 - And a Highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness …. All of us are making a journey to the kingdom of heaven and he reflected how sad it was that we live among thousands of people who do not know what it is all about – a people who don’t know God. He added that ‘you as Doves are doing all that you can I am sure to try to change this attitude in the world to make Jesus the centre of life – because a life lived without God is not really a human life at all.’ Read More
August Meeting
Speaker: Annette Woodnut.
We were blessed indeed to have Annette Woodnutt, founding President of Dove Wellington as our speaker for the August meeting.
The theme: "I am the Potter you are the clay " It began in a very dramatic way as Brendon, Annette's Husband walked from the back of the room and silently played the part of the Lord blessing Annette and alternately cutting things away! To which Annette protested loudly, exclaiming “Lord I am happy for you to bless me, but please don't hurt me and take things away from me!” The skit that was preformed clearly showed the work of God as potter in our lives, Annette then shared her personal testimony with the women speaking of the struggles and joys of her journey with the Lord, many examples illustrating how the Lord moulds and presses us into the form He wants us to take in Him.
Many woman were touched as they identified with Annette's testimony. Annette then passed out clay for the woman to mould in to something meaningful to them at this time in their life.
This was done in an atmosphere of quiet reflection. At the end of her presentation we watched a silent clip of a potter making a clay pot, this too, clearly had a strong impact on the women as they sat captivated.
Five Presidents were present at this meeting.
Eileen Mackey, Rebecca Millar, Sandra Kinney (current president), Mary Fifield, Annette Woodnut - Speaker and Founding President
July Meeting
Speaker: Anna Watson - Past president of Christchurch Fellowship
Anna Watson commented that she, and all of us, could have stayed in our seats and been changed because His love was just flooding Dove during the awesome time of praise and worship that was led by Chris Chua from ICPE. (Truly we did hit new heights as His glory fell and the fire of the Lord was present and many prophesied.)
Anna confirmed that the words spoken reflected the talk that she was about to give on ‘the old things have disappeared’ and she felt this had happened already. Talking into Wellington Dove’s scripture for the year ‘He who was seated on the throne said ‘I am making all things new! Then he said ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true’. Anna reflected that some of us needed to hear that we can trust the Lord’s words – we may not trust our friend or husband but we can trust the Lord and stand on His word and his promises never fail – they are new every day. He wipes our slate clean – we may regurgitate stuff but he doesn’t. Read more
June Meeting
Speaker: Duncan Graham -A wonderful, releaxed, Spirit-led speaker
Duncan’s talk focussed on the resurrection side of the cross – and how to get there. Dare we pray a dangerous prayer ‘Lord shows me what’s in my heart’? How many of us tragically can’t receive compliments? In our heads we do but not in our hearts because it’s hard to get intimate because of the damage and pain that prevent us from receiving closeness.
And welcome Marlin a new team member.
May Meeting
Speaker: Pat Subritsky
Many blessings flowed. The women present were truly blessed and there was a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Lots of laughter as everyone could relate to Pat Subritzy’s words and testimony of her faith journey. Pat and Bill’s Subritzy witness to the gathering of their martial faithfulness and love for each other was very evident and moving. Read more
